Private financial support is the lifeblood of successful athletic programs, and Modesto Wrestling Academy (MWA) is no exception.
We are a non-profit Youth Sports Program that is always looking for and appreciating team sponsors.
Many children in the area can not afford to participate in sports and we strive to allow these children to attend our program at little to no cost. The
support of our sponsors allows our club to pay expenses and provide for those children who may not otherwise be able to participate. Sponsorship
allows our coaches and athletes to remain competitive in the San Joaquin Wrestling Association, a division of USA Wrestling.
We provide singlets, shoes and safety equipment that can be costly to our participants.
The head coach and his family have picked up 90% of the costs associated with maintaining this club, that registration fees do not cover.

By sponsoring a child you are giving them the chance to compete in a program for 6 months!!
Without the financial support of our parents, fans and friends, MWA would simply not have adequate resources to continue to compete and provide
for the youth in our area. The athletic reputation we are working so hard to build would be diminished. More importantly, boys and girls would be
denied the extraordinary benefits of the MWA wrestling club.
Some of the costs associated with running this youth program:
Facility Rental for Practice (@ $12.00 per hour)
Facility Rental for Tournaments (@ $80.00 per hour average)
Safety and First Aid Supplies
Uniforms / Singlets
T-Shirts
Awards
Administrative Costs (e.g., paper, printing costs, etc)
Travel Expenses
Club Charter Expenses
Tournament Entry Fees ($10 per tournament, per child)
USA Wrestling Cards $30.00 per child
These are just a few of the expenses this club has. The only source of income for the club is the registration fees per participant!!!
